The advantages of working with a firm that keeps it focused
Most analytics advice comes packaged with software sales, scope expansion, and outputs that require ongoing support to read. Quillstone is built around the opposite idea.
Back to HomeSix things that matter when choosing a data advisor
Question-first approach
Every engagement starts with what you need to understand, not with what's technically convenient to measure.
Outputs you own and maintain
We hand over templates and guides your team can keep current without coming back to us each month.
No vendor relationships
We don't earn referral fees. Recommendations are based on your situation alone.
Plain-language deliverables
Notes and reports are written for the people who make decisions, not for data analysts.
Tightly scoped engagements
No scope creep. What's included is agreed in writing before any work begins.
Bangkok-based and context-aware
We understand how Thai and regional businesses actually operate — fiscal calendars, reporting norms, language preferences.
What each benefit means for your team
Professional expertise without enterprise overhead
Our advisors bring backgrounds in finance, operations management, and applied measurement — not just academic data science. The practical distinction matters: we understand the administrative reality of a team of eight trying to maintain a reporting process alongside their regular work.
We don't bring junior staff to client engagements. The advisors who scope the work are the advisors who deliver it.
- Finance and operations backgrounds, not only technical
- No junior staff on client engagements
- 6+ years average advisor experience
- Familiar with Thai business reporting norms
- Works with Excel, Sheets, and most accounting exports
- No mandatory software purchases
- Structured templates built in tools you already have
- Clear documentation for future team members
Tools that fit what you already use
We don't propose new software as the answer to a measurement problem. Most teams have what they need — they just need a clearer structure for using it. When the work requires building something, we build it in tools your team already knows.
If a tool upgrade is genuinely warranted, we'll identify it with clear reasoning — not because it adds to our fee.
Responsive, direct communication
Every Quillstone client has a named contact who knows their engagement in detail. Questions don't go into a ticketing queue — they go directly to the advisor handling the work, who responds within one business day.
For ongoing advisory clients, we're also available for short asynchronous questions between scheduled sessions. If you're looking at a set of numbers and want a quick second opinion, you can ask.
- Named advisor as primary contact
- One-business-day response commitment
- Async questions supported for advisory clients
- Written summaries after every session
- Transparent, fixed pricing per engagement type
- No surprise costs from scope additions
- Entry-level session at ฿4,100 with clear deliverables
- VAT-exclusive pricing stated upfront
Clear pricing, no hidden additions
Our three service types have published prices. The Data Clarity Session gives a team a grounded starting point for ฿4,100. The Reporting Setup Project delivers a complete, maintainable reporting structure for ฿20,000. The advisory engagement runs month to month for ฿33,500.
Scope changes require a new written agreement. You won't receive an invoice larger than what was discussed.
Outcomes that show in the work, not the pitch
After a Data Clarity Session, most teams leave with two or three specific measures they weren't tracking consistently before. After a Reporting Setup Project, teams typically reduce time spent on manual report assembly by a meaningful amount each week.
We don't claim results in advance. What we can describe clearly is what you'll have in hand at the end of each engagement type, because that's how the work is scoped.
- Tangible deliverables defined before each project
- Reduced manual reporting effort for most clients
- Clearer connection between data and decisions
- 94% of clients rate delivery as meeting or exceeding scope

Distinctive features of how we work
Question-first framing
Before any data is looked at, we establish the decisions the data should inform. This is a documented step, not a preamble.
Engagement closure documents
Every project ends with a written closure note: what was delivered, how it was built, and how to keep it working. Not a final invoice — a handover.
Honest limits statement
Alongside each output we note what the data doesn't tell us and where inference has limits. We don't paper over uncertainty to make findings look cleaner.
Three-month check-in option
Reporting Setup Project clients can book a light review session three months after delivery to see how the reports are being used and whether adjustments are needed.
